This probably won't be the first time I have been accused of being a weird
shit, but I rate FLP2 extremely highly. If it were cut down to a standard
length album (so, we can happily lose the truly piss-awful "...and stones"
remix, and perhaps one or two, but by no means all, of Rodney's offerings,
etc) it would be universally highly acclaimed. It's always loomed large in
my attempts to produce a definitive BA compilation MD, that's for sure.
Fruit is indeed crap, though. For live stuff , I remember fondly the two
live shows that they did for BBC R1 - one was around the time of Swagger,
the other was following the release of Beatsongs. Is there anyone out there
who has any copies of them?
