12 Bar guest list offer!

  • Subject: 12 Bar guest list offer!
  • From: "Mike G" <mikeg@si...com>
  • Date: Fri, 5 Dec 2003 12:40:54 -0000

Dear Artist!!

You are getting this email because you have played at one of my 12 Bar
nights at some point, and I thought it'd be nice to run a guest list for
the
December gig for anyone who has played previously to come along if they
like!

So, if you fancy a night in the 12 Bar from the other side of the stage
then
drop me an email and I will sort it out..
If not then enjoy your festivities anyway and see you in 2004

all the best

Mike Gething

MMM...Nice! Presents : The Christmas Gig 2003
For the very last mmm...nice! of the year we have a tip top line up for
you:

WRECKLESS ERIC

& support from William Hut

+ mystery guest! (possibly!!)

Wednesday 17th December
12 Bar Club, Denmark Street, London WC2
tickets £7 / £6 advance or flyer
ticketline 020 7209 2248

WRECKLESS ERIC : Now with his recent autobiography to promote as well as a
huge array wonderful songs Eric has enjoyed a resurgence in 2003. He is a
true legend of the punk era and beyond. One of the original artists signed
to the pioneering STIFF Records, Eric?s shambolic image belies a great song
writing talent. His song ?Whole Wide World? was recently featured in the
movie ?Me Without You???. as well as being covered by Lightning Seeds and
the Monkees! He?s even had a song (?Broken Doll?) covered by Cliff Richard!
But this is no greatest hits show, as well as his classics, Eric plays his
new material for your delectation. On stage Eric is as charming, funny
and
outrageous as ever!! We have booked him before and look forward to
welcoming
him back to the 12 Bar stage?.!!

WILLIAM HUT is a Norwegian singer/songwriter from the Bergen scene that has
produced Kings of Convenience, Royksopp and several other international
hitmakers. William posseses the kind of voice, and writes the sort of songs
that tug at the heartstrings. William?s first album ?ROADSTAR DOOLITTLE?
prompted great reviews in the UK on import:
William Hut .. exquisitely follows a heartsick sonic trajectory, infinitely
sad and nocturnal, yet uplifting rather than depressing. This is real find.
4 stars. Q MAGAZINE
A recent single ?It?s the Breeze? made number 17 in the Norwegian chart,
and
a new album is set for release in Japan and Norway. Over here with keyboard
player Bjorn Bunes to showcase his talents to the UK record labels William
is certainly one to watch!
