I was round Gerard's on Weds recording an acoustic track with Max,
the other Gerard and Katie. I mentioned that I'd love to play on
Breaking In My Heart at the gig and he just said sure, why not? I
have to say that these guys are the nicest, most easy going musicians
I have ever worked with (and I've been in quite a few bands) and the
vibe on stage and after the gig was just brilliant. It's given me a
real kick up the arse to re-start my own band again (http://
www.myspace.com/altastate if anyone's interested). Max's tiger-skin
Marshall stack is now in my mums garage in Patchway for a few days
while I'm in London. It gave her a nasty shock when she went to put
the car away!!

21 years after first seeing them at the Tropic club a lifelong
ambition finally realised. Rock'n'roll !!!!
Now, where can I get one of those "Are you now or have you ever
been a member of the Blue Aeroplanes" t-shirts...
