Yes to Lloyd Cole...haven't really heard of the others apart from
grandaddy.....not going to get involved in the rights and wrongs of the
middle east!

Yes to Green on Red, especially "Scapegoats". 
Not to mention Grandaddy, The Shins and (now that he's living in the US
- I think) Lloyd Cole. Do you also know the recent album "Marshall's
House" by John Squires (ex-Stone Roses guitarist)? Great songs, although
the voice is a little ...er... rough. Andrew

Off-topic rant - Avihay, I'd say that as long as your government
continues to wall in people over whom it has no authority, having
already stolen their land and demolished their houses, no clear-thinking
person would sully themselves by going to Israel for a holiday.
