My favourite Godfathers track is 'I Want Everything', their debut single.
The video was very funny - a pastiche of beatlemania - screaming young
girls
etc. They had 'spinning newspapers' - headlines like Godfathers Meet Elvis!
Godfathers Meet the Pope! Godfathers in Spinning Newspaper Shock! The
Godfathers made a great noise, but, in the end, they were a bit limited,
all
sounded the same I reckon.

Anyway, could someone list for me the 'proper' Blue Aeroplanes albums i.e.
UK releases not including compilations/live albums etc...? Would be very
grateful and all...

Their big hit was "Birth, School, Work, Death". I think I still have that
CD somewhere in the collection. I dunno if that's the song you're thinking
of. BSWD always reminded me of the 80's version of the Chili's or stuff
off
of the first two Faith No More rekkids...

Dear all

Are any of you familiar with the band The Godfathers (English, late 80s
/ early 90s)? I've recently heard a song of theirs called 'I'll never
forget...what's his name' - and it really reminds me of the 'Planes esp
up to the first chorus. But I can't place which BA track it reminds me
of...something from the early 90s perhaps?

Any good ideas?

Thanks
Jof
