RE: [blueplanes] FW: Gerard GigI got so pissed and talked so much that me
and Gerard ended up eventually getting thrown out of the 12bar last night
by the barman - does this count as an AeroAlcoholAnecdote?!

Love.
Lisa

Not alcohol related (although I suppose its possible) but the man
himself was rather bathetically getting a parking ticket outside the 12bar
club as we arrived last night....

Didn't bode well for the show - but it was sensational. Bearing in mind
that I saw him do probably the most depressing gig I've seen bar none in
York recently, we could have been excused worrying.... But put together a
tiny venue, a band of guitar, mandolin/banjo & fiddle and Pat & it was a
riot. And then there were the songs. All the best bits of record player
chopped with jacket hangs, miracles, picture framed, and bloody bagpipe
music as well. Strewth. more please.

There were even veiled threats of a real aeroplanes album 'next year'.
Apparently three songs left to be finished. But this raised every eyebrow
in the audience....

Mind you he did tap me for a Stella at a Radon Daughters gig a few
months ago ... 'Reassuringly Expensive!!!' He's a top bloke though he
made time to chat so I couldn't begrudge him £2.40!!! (He didn't get me
one back though now there's a lesson for us all there...)

Anyone else got any 'Aeroplanes' alcohol related stories????
