Animals That Swim (BA-like bands)

Any other fans of Animals That Swim here? I discovered them as part of a 
'bands that remind me of the Aeroplanes' thread a number of years ago. 
They're
a wonderful, emotion-laden band that uses these incredibly mournful horns 
in a
rock environment, there's no one else like them. After 5 years of silence 
they
just released their 3rd album, _Happiness From A Distant Star_.

It's not that they SOUND like the Aeoplanes, but their stylistic approach
is similar. I've heard the Jazz Butcher described in similar terms, and 
while
I worship Pat Fish, I don't see the BA correlation.

What other bands would you compare the BA's?
