I wasn't brought up in Bristol, but moved there in 1994. I'd been a
Planes fan since 89-ish (before anyone asks, no that's not why I
moved here!). The funny thing is that I have several friends who've
been Bristolians longer than I have, who regard the band as well past
it, and find it amusing that I'm still a fan. I was ribbed for attending
the recent show, with a couple of folk reserving particular (light
hearted) derision for poor Wojtek....
