I believe Up in a Down World was released in '92

Yes, Ruby Trax - quite a rare gem as far as tribute albums go, as I recall.

Another release to add is the Up In A Down World EP, on Fantastic 
Plastic - from 1994 according to some quick googling, though my copy has 
no obvious date info. It's a 4 track 12" with the title track 
(rerecorded 12 years on for Altitude!), an acoustic Fun, Mean Time (a 
variation on Yr Own World), and another live version of Breaking In Your 
Heart.
