That's bizarre. I used to know a bloke called Jimmy [James] Blunt who was
fantastic at drawing. He used to do a comic/music fanzine and one of his
cartoon strips was called "Jimmy Blunt the shortsighted c**t" (very
Viz-esque). He was in a band but I don't think he could sing. I wonder if
it's the same man.

As for new-ish tunes, Half Cousin's The Function Room is worth checking 
out.
