Check out The Hindu Love Gods which were Mike Stipe, Warren Zevon & some
other blokes. As far as I am aware they released only one cd. Good,
noisy loud guitars and some decent cover versions to boot!

All I know about Warren Zevon is (a) he's dead, (b) he recorded
"Werewolves
of London", which is brilliant. I could almost see the Planes doing
that,
Gerard doing the verses and Rodney, the Larder sisters and the rest
doing
the oooowwwoooo bits.

Thanks for that news, Danny. Now, who knows enough about Warren Zevon
to speculate what song they might cover together?
