I'm also tempted by Shrewsbury, but I'm not sure if I'll be coming down from Liverpool or up from Bristol yet.  May even stop off there on way back from Liverpool to Bristol!  If anyone is going from either direction then please post nearer the time as I'll be hankering for a lift I expect, although there is the faint possibility that I may be able to provide one.

Tom - I'm a Rovers fan in the same position as you!  The fact that I work (albeit part time nowadays) for the company that has its name emblazoned across City's shirts doesn't hurt too much!

From: "Tom Berry" Reply-To: blueplanes@st...net To: Subject: [Blueplanes] Re: cavaliers Date: Mon, 22 Dec 2003 15:37:45 -0000 i can't see that cavaliers is nearly anywhere near the best that they've done, in fact along with Bop Art I think it's the worst. Swagger/miracles & friendloverplane are my best, but the former I put down to Angelo and Alex's influence who were, along with Gerard,in my humble opinion, the musical creativity of the band. I'm tempted by Shrewsbury due to family connections, and my birthday coming up, but fuck me, I was singing raise the roof 3 years ago in a psychiatric unit!! Anyway, my favourite album of the year must be Athlete's vehicles and animals. I'm not a big one for words/lyrics, (apart from 'you always hurt the ones you love, but i don't think it's true...etc..)but for pure catchiness from start to finish, that album has it. Stuart, thanks for your support(!!!!) It's tough writing to the digest with so many diehards-but when Bristol City are Crap-often, I tend to agree and don't shout 'if you all hate rovers clap your hands'. I agree they are the best live band in the world and I'm Bristolian, but do they/does he want them to be the best band in the world?
