There are plenty of clubs in Bristol, but I'm not sure how many could be classed as good.  Best thing to do would be to buy a copy of Venue magazine (£1.20), which is Bristol & Bath's equivalent of Time Out (or whatever Manchester's weekly what's on guide is called - I've seen it but I can't remember what its called) when you get to Bristol and see what is on offer.

There's a good pub that's open til 2.00 and free to get in, but its a bit of a trek.  Its called The Hatchet and its right by the Bristol Academy venue in town.  Actually, you could always go to the Academy.  They don't do dance music on a Friday, but I don't know what sort of crowd they get.  The Thekla (a club on a boat which is alot nearer Fiddlers) is worth checking out to see what they've got on.

If you just want a late drink Fiddlers often stays open after the bands have finished, depending on what time it is and how many people are hanging around still buying.

What time are you coming down from Manchester on Friday and how are you getting there?  I'm coming down from Liverpool.

Hi all,
This is my first try at a mailing list thingy..........3 of us coming down from Manchester/Wigan for hopefully a great night. Seen Langley and the boys twice before and can't wait for this, nothing comes close to the guys when they are on form. How strong are these rumours about Angelo turning up, the more guitars the better!!
Anyway, anyone know of any good clubs for after show freak out?
See you all there, Woody
