Nice one PV2 - never go to a Blue Aeroplanes performance without at least
one virgin. & a wicked performance it was. Gerard without his shades -
broken but not mended during an apocalyptic banjo 'Breaking in My Heart' -
is a first for me (in 21 years of admiring our greatest living Englishman).
Always better than last time, no break with tradition - as long as the Blue
Aeroplanes are flying there is NO POINT in any other guitar bands

It was bloody late, but when they did go on they were fab. No Rodney (busy
with other things, apparently), but Nick Jacobs was there instead! He
treated us to 'Severn Beach', plus we got 'Season Ticket to a Bad Place',
'Cowardice and Caprice', 'Here Comes the Queen', 'I Need', and several
songs
I didn't recognise which I confess made no impression on me. Still, they
rocked. I know what Tom means about the boredom threshold but my
girlfriend, an Aeroplanes virgin, was won over completely and joined me in
the small but committed mosh pit. Top fun.
