Ok, I don't like that song that much too.
Actually, from all the bands I named, this is the band I like the least.
Sorry, I don't want to be rude, but this is actually a band from who I
think
they sound a little American.
So, that might be the reason they got that much of airplay in your
country.

Do the rest of the bands you recommended sound like them, or is it just
that they're all Belgian?

Do I hear (read) a synical thought here ? (-:)

No, they all sound very different.
None of them even sounds like K's Choice.
It's even very different to describe the music made by dEUS, Soulwax and
Zita Zwoon.
These are three bands who try to mix some different music-genres and all
three have created their own style.
I would recommend Soulwax very much... They have a song (Saturday) that
they
have mixed with Billy Jean (Michael Jackson) and is only available on the
web for free. (http://www.soulwax.com/)
Arid is even a band that got signed by an American record company before
they even had released anything. They sound a bit like Jeff Buckley and
they're really great live...
dEUS is a great live band as well... I always like the half of their
albums... It's strange, but they have often some experimental stuff on
their
albums, and that is something I don't like that much...
Novastar just released the debute-CD. They have sold quite a lot here in
Belgium and I'm quite sure Neil Finn would be jealous when he heard some
of
their songs... (Maybe the Dutch members will know some of their songs...)

We are lucky here...
We get all sorts of languages...
Ofcourse English is the main language, but we also get in touch with
French,
German, Italian, etc... bands.

BTW : A band is big here in Belgium when they have sold 20,000 copies of
an
album...
I know Travis is big in England right now and had to sell over a million
of
copies...
So, you see the difference.
Besides : Last week I saw Travis... they were very good. Strange band
tough...
Next week I'll be seeing Oasis in a very small audience here in
Brussels....
I can't wait the two Gallaghers on stage...
Most of all, I'm looking forward to seeing Andy Bell again since we (my
wife
and I) were big fans of Ride.

Hope I made myself clear...

Hans.
