yes yes yes...Dream Syndicate.  I admit it, I was a
fan.
Steve and I had a nice chat when they played Maxwells
in November about Dream Syndicate shows I'd seen in
Athens.
Randy - are you our resident 80's guru?

Stacey - Marty is very cool - I got to hang out a bit
with him the end of last year and this year.
he actually came out and met us at the Soft Boys in
March - it was pretty cool having HIM find ME in the
crowd (seeing as I was/am a big fan of the Church).
Ok, the fact that my ex is good friends with him
helped!:/

and on a Planes related note, we had a nice chat about
Rodney when I was in  London in February (seems ole
Marty lived one town over from him for a while - )

I remember Rodney saying the Church were "dead boring"
live...ha!  Compared to the Aeroplanes..hell yeah!
But he thinks Marty is a good guy - he is.
And one helluva record/cd collector!
